Football Manager 23 – September 7
Football Manager 2023 is the latest entry in Sports Interactive’s long-running series of football management games. The latest release is great, scoring 81 on review aggregator Metacritic and offering players real-world experience of managing a professional football team.
The game is a big hit with football fans, allowing gamers to build their dream team and guide it to glory. In addition to constructing the team, players can interact with their squad and fans, balance the books, hold training sessions, and make tactical changes throughout each season.
In the latest version of the franchise, gamers will be able to discover wonderkids – teenage footballers with high levels of ability who can become world-class when given the right environment and coaching. The latest entry also adds a new set of licenses for European competitions and some improvements to the AI, making it even more engrossing than previous editions of the title.
Starting September 7, the game will be available to claim through Amazon Prime Gaming‘s Epic Games Store hub.
Ozymandias: Bronze Age Empire Sim – September 14
Throughout history, powerful leaders in the Bronze Age created the first empires. In a new and simplified strategy game, you can experience their rise to power. Your goal is to expand your territory, strategically build cities, and defend them with your armies. Each turn, you must choose from different opportunities to earn rewards. The game also offers unique victory conditions, making every game different, and allows for customized gameplay styles.
In Ozymandias: Bronze Age Empire Sim, you can build an empire in a single sitting. All the strategy of a classic 4X in a faster format, which also shines in multiplayer in the game.
Ozymandias: Bronze Age Empire Sim will become free on September 14 only for Amazon Prime members.
Absolute Tactics Daughters of Mercy – September 14
Absolute Tactics Daughters of Mercy is a grid-based tactics game that has an intriguing story but suffers from poor writing and uninspired gameplay.
The game follows Huxley, a wannabe adventurer who gets drawn into an invasion of his hometown by the titular Daughters of Mercy. He assembles a small party of heroes and then goes to war against the horde of enemies. The story reads like a generic hero’s journey, and the characters have more broad archetypes than fleshed-out personalities.
While the gameplay is decent, it’s a bit of a drag when you have so many other options for tactical RPGs. Newcomers to the genre will find a lot to enjoy, but experts may be bored halfway through.
Dexter Stardust – September 21
Dexter Stardust is a classic point-and-click adventure; you can walk, talk, and interact with everything in your surroundings. Use and pick up inventory items to solve puzzles in over 100 unique scenes.
The game will be free on September 21 on the Amazon Games app.
Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate – September 21
Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate is an intriguing roguelike based on the game of chess. The story is kept fairly simple; you play as the Black King, whose wicked and tyrannical ways have driven his loyal army to defect and join the White King’s forces. Now, you must replace them with your own troops and slay any remaining enemy in this surprisingly addictive and challenging title.
The game will be available for free on Amazon Games app on September 2023. You can find out more about Shotgun King on Lawod.
Unsolved Case: Murderous Script – September 28
On September 28, the detective mystery game Unsolved Case: Murderous Script Collector’s Edition will be available for free for Amazon Prime members on the Amazon Games App.
Take on the role of a new detective and unravel secrets in this gripping hidden-object puzzle adventure. You’ll be tasked with investigating cases such as the disappearance of a famous attorney’s client, an actress’s husband’s death, and more.
Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator – September 28
A management sim equal parts cozy, instructive, and critical of big business, Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator has you take on the role of a winery owner.
You’ll need to balance the dozens of factors that go into making a bottle of vino, including which vines you plant when to harvest, and which wines to sell.
Hundred Days, which was given away for free by Epic Games last year, will again become free for Amazon Prime members on September 28, and the members can claim the game on the Amazon Games app.
