Activision is developing its successful and popular battle royale shooter game, Call of Duty Warzone, for mobile devices. If you’ve played the game on your PC or console, you’ll understand what great news this is. We should also say that this is not Call of Duty Mobile; this is going to be something else.
Call of Duty Warzone’s mobile version was revealed in a job posting in the past week. Even though this job post didn’t contain any detailed information, it was clear that Activision is planning to release a mobile game for the Warzone franchise. The company announced the development news with these words: “We are creating an all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid, and large-scale action of Call of Duty: Warzone to players on the go.”
It should be noted that the new mobile game of CoD will not be part of Call of Duty Mobile. Although Call of Duty Mobile is a part of the franchise, it wasn’t developed by Activision itself. Instead, the developer of Call of Duty: Mobile is the Tencent Games-owned Chinese developer studio, TiMi Studio Group. We should say that they did a great job on Call of Duty Mobile because the game became one of the biggest mobile games ever developed.
For now, there is not much to say about the new mobile game for the Call of Duty franchise. The only thing we can say is that Activision is developing a mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone, and it will be large-scale. So, the game will get updates and new features for a long time. Is it going to be as successful as its sister game, Call of Duty Mobile? Only time will tell.
