F1 23 release date is set for Friday, June 16, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and PC (via the EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam). Players who pre-purchase the Champions Edition will get three days of early access on Tuesday, June 13.
F1 2021‘s Braking Point story mode is returning with the franchise’s new series, F1 23, with protagonist Aiden Jackson and his nemesis Devon Butler rejoining the fictional Konnersport Racing team. This year the two will be joined by Callie Mayer, a new character who is desperate to break into Formula 1 herself and whose strained family relationships could provide plenty of drama.
Codemasters promises improved physics and pad-play, while the divisive F1 Life feature has been replaced with a new hub called “F1 World.”
F1 23 will also include the brand-new street circuit in Las Vegas and a return to Qatar along with three legacy circuits: Paul Ricard (France), Shanghai International Circuit (China), and Portimao (Portugal).
For those keen to play the new game, the standard edition will be available on June 16, with the Digital Champions Edition available three days earlier on June 13. From today until the official launch date, both editions will be available for pre-order at a discounted price.
