GTA may be the most successful video series in the gaming industry, and millions of players are still enjoying GTA 5. Even tho it has been eight years since GTA 5’s release, it is still one of the best games on the market. But many players started to complain about when they would be able to play the new installment in the series.
Luckily, Rockstar Games, the developer and publisher of the GTA series, made an official announcement about GTA 6. This is the first announcement that the company made for the new game in the series. Here is what you need to know.
GTA 6 Release Date
Unfortunately, Rockstar Games didn’t make any announcements about the official release date of GTA 6. In fact, the company just announced that they are going to start working on the new game in the following days.
In this respect, it would be unrealistic to expect an official release date. However, in our opinion, the game will be released about three years later. This means that we will be able to play GTA 6 in 2023 or 2024, at the earliest. However, Rockstar Games may try to accelerate the process since GTA 5 has started to lose a great fan base, even tho GTA Online is still at its peak.
What Else Do We Know About the Rockstar Games’ GTA 6?
Unfortunately, Rockstar Games doesn’t share any details about when they start to develop a new game. In addition to this, they don’t say anything about the concept or the gameplay. Considering that this was the first official announcement, it is quite natural.
On the other hand, the recent GTA Trilogy crisis has cost a lot to Rockstar Games. We believe that the company will not want to risk losing a great number of its fan base, just like Battlefield 2042 did. In this respect, we believe that they will work hard to offer a new game that is much better than GTA 5.
