Venba – July 31
The narrative cooking game Venba tells the story of an immigrant family that arrives in Canada in the 1980s. Unlike most immigration stories, Team Visai wanted to focus on the role of the parents as they tried to pass their culture onto their children in a new country. Food is a big part of that, and the recipes in Venba are based on real Southern Indian cuisine, which the devs learned about by consulting chefs as they developed the title.
Venba will be available on July 31 for PCs via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
