For a long time, Battle Royale dominated gaming. Every streamer was playing PUBG, Fortnite, or a variation of the two. It was amazing at the start. But like any other industry, new projects and genres rise and take the lead.
As a horror fan, seeing horror titles bright with every single release was a feeling I can’t explain. One of those titles was Poppy Playtime. As Lawod, we loved the series from the start. And its latest release, Chapter 2, was a good indie horror. After finishing the last chapter, I couldn’t wait to investigate: When will Chapter 3 come out? And here is all we found:
A Summary of Both Games
Before talking about Chapter 3, I think it’s important to remember what happened and where we left off. At Poppy Playtime, we played as an old employee of Playtime Co. The game starts in the old factory after we get a mysterious letter from an old crew. Who vanished ten years ago. After running from a blue monster with long legs and arms(Huggy Wuggy), we manage to save ourselves.
Because it was a huge hit, developers released another game as a DLC, Poppy Playtime – Chapter 2: Fly in the Web. In the second chapter, we woke up where we left off in the first game. And with a bigger and scarier map, we run from Mommy Long Legs. The latest title was twice as long with new gadgets to play with. The game ended with a cliffhanger, so what will happen in the next chapter?

When Will The Chapter 3 Come Out?
So far, an official released to date is unknown. The second chapter was released approximately seven months after the first one. We can assume Chapter 3 can be released late this year or Early 2023. It is also possible that MOB Games (the developers behind the two titles) could release the game on the first game’s anniversary, which is October 12.
These are all speculations. For now, we can only guess unless the developers share information. But I don’t think (and hope) that Chapter 3 would take more than 8-9 months. MOB Games got so popular with this series. And if they deliver another good (or maybe a final ) title, they can make many gamers(and horror fans like me) very happy.
