GTFO Review

GTFO is one of the amazing games that offer a co-op horror experience to players.

There are lots of horror action games on the market, but finding a good one is hard. That’s why we wanted to put together this review for people in need of a fantastic horror game to play. It is called GTFO. The game was developed and published by 10 Chambers on December 10, 2021.

G.T.F.O. was available as an early access game for a while, and it received a lot of positive feedback from players during that time. So, as the final version of the game is released on Steam, it may be the ideal time for you to give this fun game a try.

We would like to note that the developers worked a lot on GTFO for its final version. Though there will be new updates and patches in the future, we can say that there is a huge difference between the early access mode and the final game. This is why we recommend giving GTFO a try again, even if you have played it on early access.

The game supports online co-op mode for up to four players and offers a great horror and first-person shooter experience to players. Besides being able to play the game together with your friends in co-op mode, you can also play it alone together with bots.

In each game, you will be on an expedition mission in a facility called Complex. It is an old research facility where weird things happen too often. You have to descend the floors one by one and clear a path for yourself by eliminating zombie-like deadly creatures.

Pure firepower will not work in GTFO since you need to remain silent from time to time. In this regard, we believe that players who love to play stealth games will love the game a lot too. However, since you will be playing with three of your friends, this will not be easy most of the time.

If you don’t have enough players to create a team, you can always play the game with bots. They usually follow your lead and sneak when you sneak. Besides eliminating creatures, you also need to collect resources to use later on.

These zombie-like creatures are known as “sleepers” in GTFO, and you need to be really careful about them. They are all in hibernation, and even the slightest noise can wake them up, so we assure you that you will not want to wake them up without getting into a good position.

Otherwise, you and your team will be wiped out easily at unexpected times. Basically, coordination and stealth are two of the most important skills that teams must own. Otherwise, you will have to replay the levels from the beginning all the time.

It is worth noting that each floor is one level, and you and your team will be on the expedition. Your goal is to reach the bottom floor of the old research center. As you can guess, you are going to encounter many more challenging and noisy creatures as you keep progressing on your expedition missions.

For the minimum system requirements, players need at least Windows 7 or later, an Intel Core i5 2500K or AMD equivalent processor, 8 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030, or a Radeon HD 7850 graphics card, and 15 GB of available space.

To play GTFO on recommended settings, you’ll need a Windows 10 OS PC with an Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD equivalent processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, or a Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM. We highly recommend giving a try to this amazing online co-op first-person shooter horror game to enjoy your time!
